Since October, 2016 when Sharp Sword in Deep Sea started shooting, the crew have been touring in Dalian, Qingdao, Wuhan, Sanya, Ningbo, Wuxi and other places to shoot the drama.More than 300 crew members, director and actors included, have been following all the way through all year round with high-intensity work. When the TV series was shooting in Qingdao, Sanya and other places, Director Zhao Baogang overcame the tough condition of narrow internal space and lack of oxygen in the submarine and shot inside the submarine. He also went out to the sea for several times. Escorts, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles were used several times to fully demonstrate the strength of submarine force of Chinese navy, the spirit of submarine officers and soldiers, and the significant achievements that China has made through the strategy of strengthening the army through science and technology.
