1. Film & television talent training, key construction project of the 13th Five-year Plan

Film & Television Cultural Industry and Education Park of Qingdao Huanghai University

With a total investment of 170 million yuan, this project is mainly engaged in building market-based film and television talents incubator, film and television arts and education college, production-study practical training base, master studio, international cooperation center, teaching center, hardware facilities and equipment base, service companies, etc. Term of construction: 2015-2017

2. Film & television shooting base, key construction project of the 13th Five-year Plan

Lingzhushan Film & Television Cultural Base

With a total investment of 75 million yuan, this project is mainly engaged in building film and television museums, ancient culture parks, garden landscape, etc., so that different scenes can be shot against various dynasties such as Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing as needed. Term of construction: 2016-2017

3. Film and television interactive entertainment and cultural tourism, key construction project of the 13th Five-year Plan

Wanda Mall of Oriental Movie Metropolis

Located in the core area of the Lingshan Bay Film & Television Cultural Industrial Zone, this project covers a gross building area of 879,000 m2 with a total investment of 4.6 billion yuan. It is concentrated on building experience projects related to film and television interactive entertainment, including film entertainment park, international cinema, water world, theme park, skating rink, VR experience hall, etc. Term of construction: 2015-2018

 

4. Film & television cultural exchanges, key construction project of the 13th Five-year Plan

Wanda Grand Theater

With a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, Wanda Grand Theater possesses a building area of 24,000 m2. The carrier includes a main performance hall with seating for over 4,000 audiences and several multi-function rooms. The main performance hall is the venue for film festivals. The multi-function rooms are used for holding film and television cultural exchange events, exhibitions and forums, promotion conferences, competitions, etc. Term of construction: 2016-2018

Film Museum

With a total investment of 150 million yuan, this project is mainly engaged in the building of facilities such as multimedia and digital exhibition halls, touch-screen demo system, interactive projector, electronic virtual system, and multimedia games interactive platform in an effort to create a comprehensive museum that displays film development history, represents the level of film technology, spreads film culture, and fosters academic exchanges. Term of construction: 2016-2017

5. Film & television animation industry, key construction project of the 13th Five-year Plan

Qingdao Phenix Island Film & Television Animation Creative City

With a total investment of 572 million yuan, this project is targeted at building a film and television animation creative studio by bringing in the world's leading 3D animation production equipment and at accelerating the docking of talents training with the market's demand through service outsourcing. It consists of two construction phases, i.e. the first phase focuses on building 3D hardware facilities and creative studios, and the second phase on supporting projects related to the industry-study-research model. Term of construction: 2017-2020
