The Zangmashan Film and Television City is located in the Zangmashan Rural (International) Ecotourism Resort in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, covering an area of 1500 acres. It integrates film and television shooting, tourism, live interactive experience, and commercial functions, and is equipped with surrounding services such as crew hotels, extras, and prop warehouses. It will be completed and put into operation in June 2023.

According to the planning and design concept of "one axis, one belt, and five zones", the overall layout is carried out, with the original forest experience area as the axis and the characteristic vegetation viewing area as the belt, creating a landmark shooting tourism landscape. We plan to construct five major functional areas: the European, American, and Republic of China old Beiping block (with a total construction area of 68142 square meters), the Republic of China old Shanghai and Shikumen block (with a total construction area of approximately 74282 square meters), and the ancient costume shooting area (with a total construction area of 38990 square meters), presenting the unique styles and features of different periods and regions. The film and television outdoor location integrates functions such as film and television shooting, tourism, and live interactive experience. After the overall operation, the West Coast New Area will form a new pattern of film and television development with "Lingshan Bay in the east and Zangma Mountain in the west".

Since its official operation in April 2024, the Northern Micro Drama Film and Television Base (Qingdao Cangma Mountain) has received more than 80 on-site exploration crews and produced 44 film and television works such as movies, micro dramas, creative short films, advertising videos, variety shows, etc. Currently, 6 of them have been released, providing rich supply of various scenes for different themes of dramas.
