Today(July 16), the 3D film with Wang Wei as its director and writer is to be released in advance at ShangyingFilm and Television in Qingdao. The film tells about some ceramictea pets living in a tea shop of a bustling city in the south. They take pride in their color changing when poured tea. However,Tang is the only tea pet whose color won't change even the tea is pouring. One day, a robot Xiaolai from the future,flies into the shop. And Xiaolai brings hope for changing color for Tang to find the way to make its color more beautiful. Tang makes his decision to go for an adventure to the future with Xiaolai.

As the only Chinese cartoon that is shortlisted by Shanghai International Film Festival Golden Cup Prize this year, Tea Pets will be on air on July 21.
