??Qingdao is going to apply to build the “City of Film” in the Creative Cities Network of United Nations Educational, scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)! At present, the work of application has entered the “final table”, and the result is going to be announced on October 31st. If it makes it, Qingdao will become China's first "City of Film".Recently,breakthrough has been made on Qingdao’s application for building the “City of Film” in the Creative Cities Network of UNESCO: it has obtained the “support letter”from the Chinese NationalCommittee for UNESCO.In accordance with the relevant provisions of UNESCO,Annually,only four cities in each country can qualify for the Creative Cities Network. “This is like that we has gained the ‘tickets’ for the finals, and there is ‘only the last one kilometer’ to run  before Qingdao becomes China's first "City of Film ", said the principal of the office for application under Qingdao Culture,Radio and TV,Press And Publication Bureau.
