??From September 1st to September 3rd, the ceremony and a series of activities of the 16thChina Film Performance Art Institute Award and will be held in Lingshan Bay of Qingdao West Coast New Area.The award ceremony is scheduled to be on the evening of September 3rd.Attendees of the event include Chairman of China Film Performance Art Institute Ge You, Honorary ChairmanYu Yang, Tang Guoqiangas well as Zhang Liang, Tao Yuling, Niu Ben, Yuan Xia, Zhang Jiayi, Hou Yong, Ma Sichun and other famous artists of different age groups, well-known directors of the film industry, performing artists and other awarding-winning actors selected by the institute. They will all gather in Lingshan Bay.

Four awards will be given this year: the 16th China Film Performance Art Institute Award, the Institute Award, New Actor/Actress Award, Special Honor Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award.

Established in 1985, China Film Performance Art Institute has been dedicating itself to the practice and theoretical research of film performing art, for the purpose of improving the performance of our film actors and making socialist film creation more prosperous. China Film Performance Art Institute Award was thus established. Since 1987 when the first Institute award was given, the event has been held every two years and for 15 sessions.This award was given in cities like Zhengzhou, Guangzhou to Shanghai, Beijing, yet then settled permanently in Qingdao since the 11th session.
