In the conference on promoting the development of cultural industries in the province held on the morning of July 25th, reporters learned that Qingdao has regarded the film and television industry as the head of the cultural industry and will spare no efforts to build a modern film and television industry cluster, to create the internationally renowned and domestic first-class “city of film and television”. A subsidy of at most 40% of the producing cost would be granted to the excellent film and television works filmed and produced in the film and television industry area.Qingdao made great efforts to create a good environment for the development of film and television industry through such measures as planning and guidance,policy drive and service optimization.It promulgated the Development Plan of High-end Movie and TV Culture Industry in Qingdao (2014-2020), and further clarified the overall layout of the film and television industry, key projects and supporting measures.

It strengthened the policy support by launchingthe Opinions on Promoting the Development of Film and Television Industry, set up special funds for the industry development of film and television with 1 billion yuan per year for subsequent five years, and granted a subsidy at most 40% of the producing cost to the excellent film and television works filmed and produced in the film and television industry area.
