Ding Sheng: Director of The Underdog Knight and Little Big Soldier (a 2010 action comedy film) 

Ding Sheng is a Chinese film director born in 1970 in Qingdao, Shandong. He graduated from the Department of Fine Art of Beijing Film Academy in 1994, and studied directing in 2001.

He directed his first film A Storm in A Teacup in 2000. He wrote and directed The Underdog Knight, a romantic heroism film in 2008; wrote and directed Little Big Soldier, an action comedy film for the New Year, in 2010; wrote and directed Underdog Knight 2 in 2011; and wrote and directed the Policy Story 2013 in 2013. The Policy Story 2013 starred Jackie Chan and the only one in the series that was directed by a director from Chinese Mainland. The total box office was 537 million yuan. His latest film Saving Mr. Wu has been released on September 30, 2015. His film Railroad Tigers starring Jackie Chan, Huang Zitao, Wang Kai, and Wang Dalu is to be released during the New Year of 2016.
