The Wanda Mall Project with a total investment of RMB 5.1 billion is now under construction in the Lingshan Bay Film and Television Culture Industry Area. The Wanda Mall is a super-large complex of culture, tourism and commerce, originally created by Wanda Group. The total building area is 360,000 m2 (including above-ground and underground areas) merely for a single project. As an important part of Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis, Wanda Mall is composed of a large-sized indoor theme park, an indoor water park, a movie park, an international cinema, a commercial street, etc. There are the largest cinema in Asia, with 30 halls and 5,000 seats, and a 3D dynamic cinema and a 3D interactive cinema representing the world's latest movie entertainment technology. It is reported that the principal part of the Project will be completed within the year and it is expected to be put into operation in 2017.
