Qingdao Phoenix Film & Media Co., Ltd. is a state-owned film media company incorporated in April 2012, and obtained the License for Producing and Operating Radio and Television Programs in December 2012.
Taking the opportunity of making Qingdao “a City of Films”, and adhering to the mission of “making life more colorful via films”, the Company actively expands its business in multiple areas, including the operation of radio and television programs, film planning and investment, film information consulting service, and development and operation of a film shooting base, so as to produce qualified films, and build a brand image.
The Company has successively produced a number of influential TV series, including Red Dust, Once Upon a Time in Tsingtao, A Civic Yuppie in the Countryside, Red Sorghum, The Mission, Star Brothers, and The Golden Water Bridge. It has established a strategic partnership with Shandong Radio and TV Station to import overseas TV series jointly and to co-release movies, for instance, The Ice Man.
