Established in 1999, as the largest film producer and distributor in China, CFGC always takes a lead in the process of cultural reform, being the “locomotive” that drives the development of China’s film industry. In February 2008, CFGC was nominated for the “First Top 30 National Cultural Enterprises”. As what was said by Han Sanping, Board Chairman of CFGC, “the goal we continuously pursue is to make our system more vigorous and to improve the market share of Chinese films.”

CFGC has produced several films, including My Own Swordsman, Beginning of the Great Revival, No Man’s Land, After Shock, and Ocean Heaven.
