??At the opening ceremony, a wonderful video presented images of Qingdao in classic films, showing the history of film in Qingdao. Filmmakers all over the country sent their blessings to the Museum through videos. China National Film Museum signed a strategic agreement with the Museum, supporting the long-term development of the Museum in terms of collection, exhibition, film and television activities, etc. Besides, the Preparatory Office of Qingdao City of Film in Europe (Bradford) and Office of Bradford City of Film in China (Qingdao) were inaugurated.??

??Developed and built by Qingdao West Coast Development Group, Qingdao Film Museum is designed to be a platform for film industrial exchanges and cooperation between Qingdao and the world and to assist Qingdao in its application of UNESCO City of Film. Currently, the first floor of the Museum is already put into service, while the second and third floor are under construction, including private cinemas, conference rooms for publishing films and TV series, and children's science education hall, which are expected to be put into use within this year.??
