Fan Bingbing, born in Qingdao, Shandong Province on September 16, 1981, is a Chinese actress, producer and pop singer. She graduated from Xie Jin Film & Television Art College of Shanghai Normal University.

The actress rose to fame in 1998 with the TV series My Fair Princess and became a film star from 2001. From 2004-2016, she successively starred in a number of films, such as Cell Phone, The Matrimony, Lost in Beijing, Buddha Mountain, Double Xposure and I Am Not Madame Bovary and received different awards, including Best Actress of the 27th Hundred Flowers Awards, Best Supporting Actress of the 44th Golden Horse Film Awards, Best Actress of the 4th Eurasia International Film Festival, Best Actress of the 18th Beijing College Student Film Festival, Best Actress of the 9th Huading Awards, Best Actress of the 11th Asian Film Awards and Best Actress of the 8th China Film Director’s Guild Awards.
